Sep 2, 2020 · This chapter addresses a wide range of concepts related to interpretation in qualitative research, examines the meaning and importance of interpretation in qualitative inquiry, and explores the ways methodology, data, and the self/researcher as instrument interact and impact interpretive processes.
Oct 29, 2013 · In the present study we manipulated word-frequency and study-test interval across five age groups in order to test their influence on recognition memory performance and on the estimates of recollection and familiarity. In general, we expected to find an inverse u-shape lifespan trajectory.
We examined whether two types of interpolated tasks (i.e., retrieval-practice via free recall or guessing a missing critical item) improved final recognition for related and unrelated word lists relative to restudying or completing a filler task.
Recognition Systems We envisage research assessment systems that effectively recognise research quality, foster the best research, and support the independence and self-governing nature of research. Research creates new knowledge and generates impact: both academic and non-academic. Our understandings of the purpose of research
Apr 13, 2016 · In order to assess to what extent response times can reveal information similar to that obtained by confidence ratings, we administered a recognition memory test that first asked for a binary recognition decision followed by a confidence rating.
