The lightest of lightweight buddy movies, Random Tropical Paradise is the cinematic equivalent of an airport novel. It's a zero-calorie cocktail complete with umbrella, an instantly forgettable shag in a nightclub toilet, a Eurovision Song Contest semi-final loser.
In Random Tropical Paradise, best friends Harry Fluder (Bryan Greenberg) and Bowie Pemberton IV (Brooks Wheelan) pull off a believable "homie-moon" adventure with reckless abandon and hilarity. We go along for the ride, through some anticipated capers and some unexpected twists in the tale.
