I am using this company now to move my furniture from San Jose, CA to Seattle, WA. Initially called them and got an estimate. Estimate was $3900, and delivery in a few days, no waiting or storage or anything. 1 day before the moving, another customer service calls, I get a new estimate of $5500!

May 27, 2024 · Summary of Events for Formal Complaint Against X Van Lines I scheduled a move with X Van Lines for a pickup on September 3rd, 2024, with direct delivery to my new residence in Georgia on September 5th, 2024. However, from the very beginning, this move has been plagued with unprofessional behavior, delays, and significant damage to my belongings, resulting in an incredibly stressful experience.
Mega van lines has a F rating and 200 BBB complaints in one year, and with a deep dive found out that's only one of their five names. Huge scam. American van lines is owned by aldo disorbo. Type his name + moving into Google. Allied van lines is a reputable carrier. They have many people who knock off their name.
AVOID MIDLAND VAN LINES AT ALL COSTS! We have an attorney, contacted the Attorney General's Office, and filed a complaint with FMCSA/BBB. A $16,500 move became a $34,500 move with wire transfers, Zelle/Venmo payments to Russian bank accounts. Derek from Midland offered a contract for $16,500 (partial pack move). Midland Van Lines is not your mover.
The movers were punctual, efficient and hard working. They were very much in sync with each other. Everything was done with care and precision. All my furniture was transported safe and sound and the final bill mirrored the initial estimate. Apollo made this move easy and stress free. Date of experience: 09 February 2024.
