Dec 27, 2023 · Radio Rebel is a mature film that accurately depicts high school. Debbie is way to good of an actor for this film. Her facial expressions like her pout, her shy smile, and her worried expression make this film too intense for younger viewers.
High school senior Tara is so painfully shy that she dreads speaking to anyone in the hallways or getting called on in class. But in the privacy of her bedroom with her iPod in hand, she rocks out -- doing mock broadcasts for Miami's hottest FM radio station, which happens to be owned by her stepfather.
Radio Rebel is a good movie. I’m saying this cus it’s been brought up since coming back on Netflix, and I love it. I watched it when it first came out as a Disney original movie. It’s goofy and childish, yeah it’s weird and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. But it’s still funny and entertaining.
