The film was selected as the Croatian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards, [1] [2] but it did not make the final shortlist. [3]

Rade Šerbedžija (Serbian Cyrillic: Раде Шербеџија, pronounced [rǎːde ʃerbědʒija]; born 27 July 1946) is a Croatian actor, director and musician. He is known for his portrayals of imposing figures on both sides of the law.

Radio je s režijskim legendama Krstom Spajićem, Živojinom Pavlovićem, Ljubišom Ristićem. Družio se s Krležom, s političkim disidentima i nastupao na zabavama predsjednika Josipa Broza Tita. Rade Šerbedžija bio je ikona jugoslavenskog kulturnog prostora. Glamurozan i ambivalentan, zavodljiv i kontroverzan. [6]
