The LLM (Law) provides ambitious graduates with a highly flexible approach to advanced legal studies, focused on the School of Law's specialisms in criminal justice, European law, public and environmental governance, human rights, international business, law and technology and intellectual property law.

The programme provides students from diverse backgrounds with an opportunity to study the foundational law modules which are required for the academic stage of legal qualification.

  8. Organisation profile. There are over 1,000 undergraduate students enrolled in the School, 320 postgraduates, 30 PhD students and almost 50 members of academic staff. At undergraduate level there are courses in law with languages, and law with politics, as well as the LLB degree.
