(March 20, 2023) – The North Carolina Courage today announce their 26-player regular season roster for the start of the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season. Of the 26 players under contract, 24 will be active heading into the first match week of the season, leaving the Courage two shy of the active roster limit.

The NC Courage was established in January 2017 after owner Steve Malik acquired the Western New York Flash following their 2016 NWSL Championship Season and moved the team to North Carolina. Since relocating to Raleigh, the NC Courage have won three consecutive NWSL Shields, the inaugural Women’s ICC Championship, and the 2018 and 2019 NWSL Championships.
