Niels Poul "Tist" Nielsen (25 December 1891 – 9 August 1962) was a Danish footballer who is the joint all-time best goalscorer for the Denmark national team with 52 goals in 38 matches. Nielsen won a silver medal with the national team at the 1912 Summer Olympics.
Poul Nielsen was born in Copenhagen on Christmas Day 1891, and from an early age took a keen interest in football. As a child, he was often rumoured to have got in to see matches without paying, earning him the nickname ‘Tist’ from the Danish word ‘gratist’, meaning free of charge.

Ved hans debut i 1910 var han med 18 år og 131 dage den hidtil yngste landsholdspiller. Poul Nielsen var med på det danske hold som vandt sølvmedaljer ved OL i Stockholm 1912. Danmark blev i finalen besejret af Storbritannien med 2-4 uden Poul Nielsen på holdet.
