Prior to arriving at the state park or historic site, campers will receive an email with instructions on how to access their reservation online and check in on the day of arrival.
Same-day reservations are now accepted for camping stays up until 7 p.m. the day of your planned arrival. Full payment for your stay is required before occupying a vacant campsite. Remember to pay before you stay!

At over 2100 acres, Horseshoe lake is the second largest natural lake in Illinois. For those, that don’t really get acres, that translates to around 3 miles long and about a 1/2 wide.
