- Henry Winkler. Henry Winker's role of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli is one of television's most iconic characters. Winkler played Fonzie for all 11 seasons of "Happy Days," transforming the role from a minor character into the show's top-billed star.
- Ron Howard. By the time Ron Howard starred as Richie Cunningham on "Happy Days," he was already a seasoned Hollywood veteran, having appeared in a slew of television series throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
- Marion Ross. Marion Ross played Marion, the Cunningham family matriarch and one of television's most beloved moms, for the entire run of "Happy Days." Mrs. Cunningham is a traditional '50s housewife, tending to her children Richie and Joanie (Erin Moran) and running the household while her husband Howard (Tom Bosley) runs his hardware store.
- Anson Williams. Every hero needs a bumbling sidekick and Anson Williams' Warren "Potsie" Weber was just that for "Happy Days" lead character Richie Cunningham.

- Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham. Howard already had quite the résumé before joining the Happy Days cast as lead Richie Cunningham: He'd been on The Andy Griffith Show and The Smith Family, to name a few credits.
- Henry Winkler as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli. Since breaking hearts as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli on Happy Days, Winkler hasn't slowed down. "The Fonz" was initially a secondary character, but he became so popular that he became the focus of the series in later seasons.
- Marion Ross as Marion Cunningham. Beloved Happy Days matriarch Marion Ross, who played Marion Cunningham, joined The Love Boat like several other members of the Happy Days cast did after their hit series ended.
- Scott Baio as Chachi Arcola. Scot Baio rose to fame as Erin Moran's Happy Days love interest, Chachi Arcola, joining the series in the fifth season. He later starred with Moran on the spin-off, Joanie Loves Chachi.

- Suzi Quatro. Sadly, the other, less fortunate supporting players on Happy Days faded into obscurity. However, that was not the case for Suzi Quatro, who played the one and only Leather Tuscadero, the sister of Pinky Tuscadero, who gave the Fonz a run for his money in her leather-clad outfits.
- Roz Kelly. Famed for her role as Pinky Tuscadero, Fonzie's girlfriend, Roz Kelly featured in some of the most absurd Happy Days storylines. Specifically, her character was central to the three-part arc “Fonzie Loves Pinky” from season 4, in which she gets seriously injured during a demolition derby.
- Lynda Goodfriend. Lynda Goodfriend played Lori Beth, Richie’s girlfriend and subsequent wife, on Happy Days. Now aged 67, Goodfriend has left the acting world behind.
- Scott Baio. On Happy Days, Scott Baio played Chachi, the hapless boyfriend of Joanie, a role that he reprised in the doomed spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi.
