Valle de La Luna is located only six kilometers from the main city of San Pedro de Atacama. Getting here on your own, however, is not easy as there are no public buses available. We recommend renting a car while in San Pedro de Atacama to explore the Valle de La Luna as well as other things to do in the Atacama Desert.
