- Sevilla to Guillena, 22.8 km – 14.2 miles. This first stage of the Via de la Plata is pretty easy and not too long, without any climbing. I completed it in just over five hours, with a short break roughly halfway.
- Guillena to Castilblanco de los Arroyos, 18.2 km – 11.3 miles. This stage is short, but it was a bit complicated for me. It had rained the evening before, so the path was quite muddy.
- Castilblanco de los Arroyos to Almadén de la Plata, 28.8 km – 18 miles. This stage is quite long and complicated. For the first 15 km give or take, you’ll be walking along the side of the road on the tarmac.
