Paul Joseph Sachs (November 24, 1878 – February 18, 1965) was an American investor, businessman and museum director. Sachs served as associate director of the Fogg Art Museum and as a partner in the financial firm Goldman Sachs.
As chairman of the committee on personnel of the American Commission for the Protection and Salvage of Artistic and Historic Monuments in War Areas during World War II, Sachs recruited many of his former students to hunt down looted artworks and oversee their return to their owners; more than 15 million items were located.

Paul Joseph Sachs was born in New York, New York in 1879 to Samuel Sachs and Louisa Goldman Sachs. Upon graduation from Harvard University in 1900, Sachs joined the family investment banking firm Goldman Sachs, becoming a partner in 1904, and retiring in 1914.
