If it’s not obvious what the players need to do, having each side location have two or three clues pointing at the other side locations and only one pointing at the next step can help. Location A has tracks to B, a journal that refers to C, and one hint at what’s really going on, repeat for B and C.

I am going to be running the Pathfinder module Tears at Bitter Manor for my first time GMing. I have read through it many times and it seems very linear. I like to have more options as a player instead of being hearded along the path.
Tears at Bitter Manor. Pathfinder Level 5 64 pages. Bleak days have come to the Taldan city of Cassomir and nearby settlements, with a wave of depression and rage sparking horrific acts of violence.
