The Raclawice Panorama was first put on display at the Universal National Exhibition in Lviv in 1894 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Kościuszko Rising, a national insurrection against Russia and Prussia. It depicts the first victorious battle fought by troops under Tadeusz Kościuszko’s command near the village of Raclawice.

Racławice Panorama Museum. Open from Tuesday to Sunday. The first presentation is held at 10:00 a.m., the last one at 5:00 p.m. Racławice Panorama Museum. It was the idea of Jan Styka, a painter from Lvov, who invited among others Wojciech Kossak, Tadeusz Popiel, Teodor Axentowicz, Włodzimierz Tetmajer to work on the painting.
