Jul 6, 2018 · Years and Years unveils a short film to new single Palo Santo which is released today. The film is directed by filmmaker Fred Rowson, who has a long-standing relationship with the band, previously directing the videos for If You’re Over Me and Sanctify, and overseen creative direction over the band’s look and feel for the album.
Years & Years have revealed more details about their new album Palo Santo at an exclusive premiere. The band hosted fans and special guests at BAFTA, London for a first screening of a short film created around the album so, of course, we headed down there to check it out.
In April 2018, Years & Years released their second album Palo Santo which became their second album to reach the top ten in the UK and features the singles "Sanctify" and "If You're Over Me", which reached the top ten there. [4] In March 2021, the band announced that Years & Years would move forward as frontman Olly Alexander's solo project.
