TOP CRITIC. Surprisingly funny. Full Review | Original Score: 3/5 | Jun 26, 2003. Jon Niccum Lawrence Journal-World. Amusing little cult comedy.
This 1994 comedy follows a young high school senior touring a prestigious liberal arts college, only to find out that he is to stay with the anarchist "frat" led by Jeremy Piven as Droz.
On Metacritic the film has a score of 42% based on reviews from 13 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews". [6] Roger Ebert said the film "begins with a terrific premise, but immediately loses faith in it." [7] It has also been ranked among the ten best college movies by The Huffington Post.
“PCU” is a fertile movie, filled with the beginnings of good ideas and promising scenes. But somehow everything seems truncated; there’s not the kind of follow-through that takes a funny situation and builds on it until the laughs begin to pyramid.
PCU: Directed by Hart Bochner. With Jeremy Piven, Chris Young, Megan Ward, Jon Favreau. A high school senior visits college for the weekend, and stays at the wildest house on campus.

One of the best attempts at recreating the legendary iconography that is Animal House. This movie is full of quotable quotes and less than known actors at the time. Check it out if only for Jeremy Piven, Jon Favreau and Jake Busey in an amusing cameo as a stoner/ultimate Frisbee player.
