When Reviewed. Rating. ★★★ Watched by RivoliPalace 09 Jul 2023. I find it somewhat odd that even though I had never been given the opportunity to see Director Joseph Ruben’s 1978 film “Our Winning Season” until now while watching it I felt as though I had seen it before.
Our Winning Season: Directed by Joseph Ruben. With Scott Jacoby, Deborah Benson, Dennis Quaid, Robert Wahler. The story follows three teenagers through their senior year of high school in the 1960s, focusing on the star athlete of the group.

★★★½ Watched by Keenan Tamblyn 19 Jul 2020 1 Really touching coming of age drama that manages to effectively blend corny melodrama with some affecting realism. There's an amazing shot of a car crashing through a drive thru theatre screen that rivals the Roger Corman car racing movies of the same era.
