Sep 4, 2021 · The Otkrytie Arena or Spartak Stadium is a multi-purpose sports venue located in the Tushino district of Moscow. Constructed in anticipation of the Russian hosted 2018 World Cup, the 42,000 capacity ground is set to open on the 5th of September 2014 and will be used by FC Spartak Moscow.

Until 2019, the Spartak Stadium is named Otkrytie Arena, the name of its sponsor Otkritie Holding, parent company of Otkritie Bank. The Spartak Stadium is built on the site of the Tushino airport.
The new home of Spartak Moscow, the Otkrytie Arena was opened in 2014 and can hold up to 45,360 screaming fans. A monument to the Starostin brothers, the four siblings who founded Spartak, is found inside the stadium, with a huge statue of Spartacus himself waiting outside.
