Osnat Shurer is an Israeli animation producer, who was one of the heads of Pixar Animation Studios' short film output. She is now a consultant involved in developing original feature films in both animation and live-action, working in particular with Pixar's much-older sister company, Walt Disney Animation Studios. She also acted as the producer of Disney's animated musical, Moana.
Born in Israel, Shurer grew up in many parts of the world and received a degree in film from New York University in 1983. She worked on various forms of media ranging from live-action presentation, animation and documentaries throughout the world. She joined Pixar in 2002 where she contributed to short films such as Boundin' and Lifted.
