The online OSCAR Website is the only way to apply for grants under the Sports Capital Programme. OSCAR also allows groups to view previous grants and payments, change contact details, seek payment of a grant and otherwise communicate with the department online.
If your organisation is a School, Education and Training Board, Diocesan Trust or 3rd Level College, you must make your application jointly with a sports club or group that is registered on OSCAR. Please fill in their details below.

When you apply for OSCAR grant funding, you’ll need to provide:: • this and any other Part two – Programme information forms for each venue you operate from. • a Part one application. • a copy of your Social Services Accreditation letter for each site or venue.
All grants under the Sports Capital Programme (SCP) are provisional and grantees must get Formal Approval before they can draw down their grant. No expenditure, in relation to grant aided elements of your project, should be incurred prior to receipt of Formal Approval from the Department.
