The online OSCAR Website is the only way to apply for grants under the Sports Capital Programme. OSCAR also allows groups to view previous grants and payments, change contact details, seek payment of a grant and otherwise communicate with the department online.

The latest round (2023) of the Community Sport Facilities Fund (formerly Sports Capital and Equipment Programme) closed for applications on Friday, 8th September 2023. A list of all provisional allocations, as well as invalid applications, is available at - 2023 grants.
The only way to apply for grants is on the Online Sports Capital Register (OSCAR system) at www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie. The website also allows those registered to view previous applications, grants and payments, change contact details, seek payment of a grant and otherwise communicate with the Department.

All grants under the Sports Capital Programme (SCP) are provisional and grantees must get Formal Approval before they can draw down their grant. No expenditure, in relation to grant aided elements of your project, should be incurred prior to receipt of Formal Approval from the Department.
