Oratory Prep runs an 8-day rotating block schedule, with four class periods a day of 75 minutes each, a common work period, and a lunch period. Each academic class rotates at which each period meets throughout the 8 days. Our block schedule allows for optimal learning, collaboration, and meeting time for students and teachers.
Oratory Prep takes a collaborative approach to college counseling, synthesizing the input of students, their parents, and the relevant school personnel. We strive to make the college process seamless, as it is an exciting time for our seniors. As counselors, we want our students to feel challenged, yet engaged in their learning environment.
The Oratory Prep upper school program provides a foundation in the core content areas while allowing students the choice to explore our wide range of electives throughout grades 9-12. Because each student requires an academic program that is specific to their needs, we have regular, honors, and AP-level courses available in the core content areas.
12:00 Noon Low Mass. 6:30 pm Confessions. 7:00 pm Low Mass. Adoration and Devotions after 7:00 pm Mass. First Saturday. 8:30 am Confessions. 9:00 am Low Mass. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Devotions after Mass. Holy Days of Obligation.

Dec 7, 2021 · The oratory was canonically erected as an apostolate of the Institute in October 2020 by the Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan, Bishop of Columbus. Just over a year later, Bishop Brennan – now Bishop of Brooklyn, New York – returned to St. Leo Oratory to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Traditional Rite for the youth of the Oratory for the first time.
