    The college's library is especially strong in the social sciences. The college attaches great importance to the provision of excellent computing and other research facilities. All rooms have a network connection and there is a college-wide Wi-Fi network.

    The college has active sports teams, and access to some shared facilities. There is an electronic piano in the chapel available for practice. Nuffield College has access to three sponsored nursery places, and matriculated students with children are eligible to apply for these places at one of the University’s nurseries, if any are available.

    The college is undergoing work to provide step-free access to the College entrance and all staircases, including access to the dining hall, common rooms and some seminar rooms.     The Senior Tutor is the College Welfare Lead, and there is also a dedicated EDI and Welfare Officer. The College has an on-site Counsellor one day each week and provides additional access to advice and welfare support through an independent Employee Assistance scheme.

    Graduate students are members of the Nuffield Junior Common Room (JCR), which corresponds to the MCR in other colleges. The JCR plays an active role in college life, including the organisation of social activities and providing student representation on college committees.
