Sep 23, 2024 · Rule 13 - Appearances-Time to Plead-Withdrawal (a) Written Appearances. If a written appearance is filed, copies of the appearance shall be served in the manner required for the service of copies of pleadings.
Supreme Court Rule 13 allows lawyers to make limited appearances in Illinois civil court proceedings and to withdraw by oral motion or in writing after the representation is complete.
