(Bubba) Cunningham officially began his duties as Carolina’s director of athletics on November 14, 2011, UNC has graduated more than 1,500 student-athletes while consistently competing for championships in an array of different sports – exciting, motivating and influencing along the way.
Staff Directory. Cricket Lane serves as UNC's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development. She has been working with student-athletes for over 30 years and was one of the first to specialize in life skills on the collegiate level.
Dick Baddour served the University for 44 years, 14 of those years as Director of Athletics. Under Baddour’s leadership, the Tarheels won 13 national championships, and 62 ACC championships. Additionally, UNC’s athletics teams’ academics consistently exceeded the national average.
