  2. One of the very few hallmark movies that actually decent and has a plot that makes sense and isn’t just. “White blond girl goes on a work trip and bumps into a guy she hates, then she starts to fall for him, then starts hating him again and then they get married after knowing each other for a week”. Review by Ruby ½.

  4. Oct 24, 2022 · The first one up in the countdown is Noel Next Door. Someone better be named Noel in this. Synopsis: A hard-working, single mom gets into a war of words with a neighbor who she feels is ruining Christmas, only to find that this misunderstood grouch just may steal her heart. Starring Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier.

  5. Hallmark sequels have usually been disappointing. Wasn't a bad movie, but like so many Hallmark Christmas movies of the last few years, this really wasn't a Christmas movie. It was a Hallmark movie that just happened to take place at Christmas time. The same story could have been told at any time of the year.

  6. Finally, director Max McGuire does a wonderful job here making a film that is intriguing, sentimental, and warm-hearted, yet still humorous. It all just snaps, crackles, and pops along, particularly due to the terrific performances by Hall and Sevier. This may be the best of Hallmark's 2022 Christmas crop.

  7. The leads have a lot of chemistry and I enjoyed their moments together. This movie also features a cute little fluffy bunny and a Flat-Earther blind date. My biggest beef with this movie is that it’s called Noel Next Door and the protagonist is actually named Noelle. Get it together, producers!
