Can't sign in to Hotmail or Outlook.com?
Microsoft always keeps an eye out for unusual sign-in activity, just in case someone else is trying to get into your account. If you're travelling to a new place or using a new device, we might ask you to confirm that it really is you. Read How to access Outlook.com when traveling for more information. I want to stop signing in automatically
If Outlook.com automatically signs you in, turn off automatic sign in. 1.In Outlook.com, select your account picture at the top of the screen. 2.Select Sign out. 3.Go to the Outlook.com sign-in page and select Sign in. 4.Enter your email address or phone number and select Next. 5.On the Enter password page, clear Keep me signed in. 6.Enter your password and select Sign in.

Sign in to Outlook on the web with your work or school account. Go to outlook.office.com. If you're not automatically signed in with your work or school account, follow the prompts to enter the email address and password for your work or school account.
Apr 3, 2024 · Here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem: First, log in to the account where Outlook is unable to find your email accounts. Navigate to Control Panel > Mail > E-mail accounts and verify if your desired Outlook account is listed there. If it’s not, proceed to the next step.
If your email and password is auto-filled, log in and follow the steps from your provider to view your existing password or to reset it. Note: Your email provider may require you to use an app password which is a unique password that only works for a specific app, like new Outlook for Windows.
