Jul 7, 2022 · Virginia Maggio, 84, died peacefully in Lafayette, Colorado, on June 24, 2022. Born in Maspeth, Queens, NY to the late James and Rose Caravella, she was a graduate of the Mary Louis Academy, and went on to join the Sisters of St. Joseph in Brentwood, NY, before returning to lay life and working for Western Electric in lower Manhattan.
Surviving are her husband Jason Maggio; her children Nicholas and Miley Maggio; her mother Eileen Bagdonavicius; and her brother Jason Bagdonavicius. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 pm -7:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy.88, Brick. A Funeral Mass will held Saturday 10:00 am at St. Dominic’s RC Church.
