All of our rooms are offered at a fixed rate regardless of the room size. From historic rooms with balconies to stylish modern en suite rooms, accommodation for undergraduates is situated onsite, close to their friends.
Our gorgeous library was built in 1897, when pioneering women students couldn’t use the University libraries. Oct 10, 2020 · Newnham College is a Victorian fairyland. The stately collection of ivy-draped redbrick halls, Queen Anne style with their elaborate curly gables, white-trimmed windows, and copper turrets, is nearly in the center of Cambridge, just down the road from the River Cam and the Backs.
We remain proudly a women’s College today. The College has a mixture of beautiful historic and contemporary buildings, set in stunning gardens. We are located by the University’s Sidgwick site and University Library, and about 10 minutes walk from the historic centre of Cambridge.
