When she first comes into the children’s life she seems to be a bit of a pushover, However that is soon proven to be untrue. The way Nanny McPhee works is the less naughty the children are the nicer she is to them.

When we are first introduced to Nanny McPhee she has frizzy brown hair a black hat and a long black dress. She has 2 warts on her face and a tooth sticking out from her mouth. The more lessons she teaches the children the more beautiful she becomes. By the end of both films she is a beautiful woman.

Cedric Brown is left with mischievous children after the sudden death of his wife. Resultantly, he seeks the help of a nanny with magical powers to control them.

Nanny McPhee helps Isabel Green with her three children and their two cousins, who are at each other's throats.

All the children that Nanny McPhee helps have surnames that are colours: The Browns, the Greens and the two Grays.
