Dec 3, 2009 · Naked wines - watch your bank account. I received a £40 off voucher from Naked Wines after I spent a bit of money on Amazon. I am not stupid - I know that I had to spend £40 - ish to get this £40 off. But the wines were a bit different so I did. Its still quite reasonable - £44.95 for 12 bottles of ok wine.
Jan 22, 2012 · Naked wines - watch your bank account. I've recently joined Naked Wines and I'm more than happy with them. My £40 voucher was for wine spend of £79.99 or over which is the norm. Originally I had chosen 6 bottles of a single wine that I liked the sound of and there didn't seem to be a problem with that.
Oct 4, 2011 · There are numerous posts on the forum about Naked Wines and other wine clubs. The aren't doing anything illegal, you just didn't look into it before you took advantage of their offer of cheap wine. It's always advisable to do a bit of research before handing over your card details to a company. We will see.
Aug 18, 2010 · Has anyone got any experience of the Naked Wines "Angel" scheme? Basically seems to be a £20/month subscription to qualify for 33% cashback on pretty much all purchases, and claims to be cancellable at any time. Now this would seem to make the following possible: Subscribe to their Angels scheme. Buy a case of wine.
Jun 23, 2012 · Naked Wines, I used a £40.00 voucher I received via Amazon or something and duly ordered my Case of wine. I did this all online and was asked to set up a £20.00 per month standing order, it was explained up front that this would happen and the money would be used to help small wine makers start producing.
Aug 27, 2015 · Naked are typical of these types of company. The CEO was the main man for Sunday Times, Bordeaux Direct, Laithwaites, Virgon wines etc etc and ALL apply the same tactic to sales.
Dec 13, 2017 · Another naked wines Angel here. I usually save my money for their Christmas selection which has wine, gin, glasses, olive oil and coffee in for a really good price. This discussion has been closed. I have had an order from them a couple of times when I have had £50 off vouchers. However, I am no longer eligible for any money off vouchers.
Feb 26, 2017 · I bought a case of 12 bottles of wine at Christmas for around £50 because I had a £60 voucher. The condition of this offer was that I get in the queue to become an Angel. The wine has all been good quality, better than the majority of the supermarket wine I have bought. However, I am now an Angel and pay £20 per month into my account.
Dec 3, 2011 · Naked wines - watch your bank account. It appears (3rd December 2011) that naked may have changed their website and some of the materials to make them clearer. And naked's home page now refers to a £20 monthly commitment on the home page, however the reference on the website still does not make it clear that using a voucher automatically signs ...
Jan 12, 2012 · Read an article this morning regarding companies offering discount vouchers before Xmas and then customers unknowingly there after being charged monthly on their Credit Cards.
