He also conducted the Annual Business Meeting, along with Mr. Sami Merhi and Mr. Naji Jurdi on June 30, 1999, and they created a situation of chaos when President Julie Makarem tried to speak from the floor; they exhibited total disrespect to President Julie Makarem in front of the entire ADS body attending the Convention.
Dr. Naji Jurdi presented a seminar on “Concept of God” that was thought provoking and erudite. This was received very favorably by almost everyone attending. Similarly, Dr. Wahbah A. Sayegh delivered a scholarly lecture titled “Impact of Greek Philosophy on Tawhid Theosophy” which was well received by the attendees.

Dr. Naji Jurdi introduced the lecturers who presented an interesting seminar on the ADS History from 1908 –to the present. Mrs. Julie Makarem wrote the History of the Druze in America for (1908 - 1946), as well as for (1947- 1970) and Mr. Ajaj Andary wrote the History of the Druze in America for (1971 - 1996).
