  2. The tracks come from as far back as 1964, and as late as 1988, so this really does cover a long history of this band. The recording quality ranges from slightly less than fair (on some of the older live recordings) to very good. The performances are all excellent. And the song selection should please any prog historian.

There are 2 pressings of this album you should get if you are a fan Both are Two Discs.Released as "Histories And Mysteries Of Planet Gong" 2000 Pressing have 21 rarities and "The Owl and The Tree" (Split LP Daevid/Mother Gong 1989 as CD 2. The 2004 pressing is also a 2 CD, But have 36 Rarities in total,but not "The Owl and The Tree" on.
