The tracks come from as far back as 1964, and as late as 1988, so this really does cover a long history of this band. The recording quality ranges from slightly less than fair (on some of the older live recordings) to very good. The performances are all excellent. And the song selection should please any prog historian.

A very strange mish mash of Gong related material from a collection of music from folks related to Gong in one form or another. It seems like outtakes and minor singles with some decent Gong music thrown in. The History and Mystery of the Planet Gong is really not worth your time and money unless of course you are a pot head pixie, then go for it.
