Although, it has a fairytale type feel.. it still is a good movie to sit and watch.. And its not run over with a bunch of porno scenes and cursing.. Good movie.
“My Other Mother” is an inspiring film about a woman’s quest to meet her real mother who had released her for adoption. Candy (short for Candice), played by Lynn Whitfield, is a morning TV host who is very demanding of those around her to the point of being annoying.
Adopted as a child, an anchorwoman (Essence Atkins) reconnects with her birth mother (Lynn Whitfield) and extended family when she attends the funeral of her father.
