3/5: This is my second Jane Corry book, and I love her books and her writing and her compelling storylines until the last couple chapters of the book where it seems to become "how many twists and new versions of the truth can I introduce?" This book followed that pattern frustratingly well, once it seemed to have been resolved and the truth came out, there was a new letter and a new culprit ...

I have read Jane Corry's previous 2 books and really enjoyed them, so was really pleased to be sent her latest to review. The Dead Ex is the story of Vicki and her ex husband. To start with there are hints about Vicki's past that keep you guessing.
However, her quiet life is completely upended when Detective Inspector Gareth Vine and Sergeant Sarah Brown stop by and begin questioning her about her ex-husband, David. They have reason to believe Vicki might be involved in his perplexing disappearance two weeks earlier.

She has also written a short story titled ‘The Killing Type’, which was released in May 2018. Her upcoming novel is due to be released in Summer 2019.
