Mr. Belvedere is an American sitcom that originally aired on ABC from March 15, 1985 to July 8, 1990. The series is based on the Lynn Aloysius Belvedere character created by Gwen Davenport for her 1947 novel Belvedere , which was later adapted into the 1948 film Sitting Pretty . [ 2 ]

Fri, Nov 27, 1987. At a Fast Food restaurant, Mr. Belvedere meets an insufferable girl, and realizes that her family needs him just as much as the Owens family does. But soon, the Owens family begin to see less and less of Mr. Belvedere, and eventually, an all-out war between families over who gets to keep him, occurs.
