Clay decides Orel needs shooting lessons from Doughy. Doughy realizes that Orel tends to shoot the gun without warning when he feels sadness, and decides to sabotage Orel's attempts to learn in hopes that Clay would take him hunting instead.
Over the course of episodes like "Grounded", "Closeface" and "Trigger", we see Orel rebelling and changing, most notably losing his naivety and unfaltering trust. The third season then ends on the cliffhanger of "Nature, Part One".
