Jul 16, 2007 · Plot. After a recap of the events in Part One, Part Two opens to reveal that Orel didn't shoot Clay, but destroyed his remaining two liquor bottles instead. Clay is angered by Orel’s behavior for the entire trip and doesn’t believe the shooting was an accident.
Nature is a two part episode of Moral Orel. The premise is about Clay taking his son on a family time honored tradition of a hunting trip, and the rite of having Orel kill his first animal into adulthood.
Nature Part 2: Clay takes Orel on his first hunting trip and gets horrendously drunk, shooting a hunting dog he thinks is a rabbit and then roasting and eating it while berating his son for his reluctance to kill animals and ranting about the nature of women. 16 July 2007

A bear, attracted by the smell of the cooking dog, invades the campsite, and Orel is forced to shoot him to save his and his father's lives. Clay ends up sleeping for over thirteen hours, waking up once only to pull a sleeping bag over his eyes.
Drunk IS nature! After Orel receives a punishment where he promises never to 'do that, with those, in there, for that long, ever again', he looks around his father's study at the stuffed animals.
SPOILER. Nature Pt.1&2. Absolutely love Nature Pt.1&2. Two of my favourite episodes alongside The Best Christmas Ever, Sacrifice and Honor. What intrigued me the most about these episodes were the use of color, lighting and animals in the background to highlight the human nature of Clay and Orel.
