Eyelid myoclonia is brief eyelid flickering, fluttering, jerking, or twitching with or without upward gaze deviation and with or without retropulsion. In contrast to eyelid myokymia, a very common condition typically associated with lack sleep or stress, this is evoked by slow eyelid closure.
