I am a sucker for a good courtroom drama and the film's climax offers a nail biter of a resolution. The film takes no risks in its narrative and offers a feel-good 1990s style "but look he overcame the odds" that I think is a bit dull. But De Niro, Theron, and Ellis' performances saves it.
