My Memrise Review: Below-Average – 2/5. At the moment, Memrise is one of the most popular apps for language learning, and it has been for quite a while. It is instead natural, as the app offers some good perks. Of course, Memrise is far from perfect. And like other language learning apps and resources, it has its own shortcomings.
1) poor understanding of their audience, 2) lack of regard for community content which holds years worth of free content donated to them by teachers and native speakers, and. 3) by extension complete disregard for endangered languages. Review still stands at 1 star because this should have been allowed in the first place via an advance notice of the forum shutdown instead of a last minute response.
