- QB TREVOR LAWRENCE, CLEMSON. Stat: Earned an “elite” (90.0-plus) PFF grade in each of his true freshman, sophomore and junior seasons — only QB in the PFF College era to accomplish that feat.
- QB ZACH WILSON, BYU. Stat: An 90.0-plus passing grade in over half of his games in 2020. Yes, BYU played a cupcake schedule and Wilson was hardly tested by pressure, but we have never seen a quarterback shred their opposition in the manner he did in 2020.
- QB JUSTIN FIELDS, OHIO STATE. Stat: 2.45 Wins Above Average (WAA) since 2019 — most in college football (only players to play in 2020 were included) The argument that Fields is just another successful Ohio State quarterback set to flame out in the NFL is inherently false.
- OT PENEI SEWELL, OREGON. Stat: 95.8 PFF grade in 2019 — highest single-season mark by a Power Five OT since 2014. Sewell produced this record mark after turning 19 years old in the middle of the season.
- QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson. The best quarterback prospect we have ever scouted. There may not be one singular thing Lawrence hangs his hat on, but he’s got the fewest weaknesses of any quarterback we have ever graded.
- QB Zach Wilson, BYU. Call him a one-year wonder if you want, but he earned an impressive 78.8 passing grade as a true freshman before injuries derailed his sophomore campaign.
- QB Justin Fields, Ohio State. You name it, Fields has it. Even with the “bad” on tape this year, Fields still earned his second consecutive passing grade over 92.0.
- OT Penei Sewell, Oregon. Sewell earned the highest single-season grade we have ever given to a college offensive tackle … as a true sophomore. We haven't seen him play a snap since his age-19 season, and he’s still talked about as a top-five pick.
