Mar 4, 2010 · MARTIN BENSON Martin Benson, who died on 28 February, 2010, aged 91, was an actor of great range who appeared in a host of British and American productions. Arguably his most memorable part was that of Mr Solo, the reluctant mafioso bumped off by Goldfinger for refusing to take part in his masterplan in the 1964 Bond film of the same name.
