Martin Behnke Biography Following several years of teaching music in the California public schools and in colleges and universities in four other states, Martin Behnke came to Willamette University in 1979 as Director of University Bands, later serving as chairman of the Department of Music as well.
Martin Behnke was born 1978 in East-Berlin. He studied Drama Studies and English at the University of Leipzig and Screen-Writing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. Together with director Burhan Qurbani he wrote the screenplay for WE ARE YOUNG.
