Jan 7, 2017 · These drawings and paintings were done over about 15 years with his neighbor as his model. There is a depth in the detail and intimacy of these pieces that take your breath away. I have trees I have painted that long, but no people.
These images began as illustrations for a blessing at the birth of a baby girl, written by a friend and minister for one of her friends. Having worked on girls so long, I decided to follow through with the women's series above.
