Dr Mark Horowitz MBBS PhD is is the founder of the Psychiatric Drug Deprescribing Clinic at North East London NHS Foundation Trust, Clinical Research Fellow in Psychiatry at North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT), Visiting Lecturer at King’s College London, an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at University College London, and co-founder of Outro Health, a medical deprescribing service.
I am wondering if someone can provide me with critical (but balanced/kind) perspectives on the deprescribing movement and the work of Dr Mark Horowitz that I have recently come across. Although I am not a total layperson (nurse), I am not medical and have absolutely zero psychiatric or mental health nursing experience.
