Mark Dintenfass. Mark Dintenfass was born in Brooklyn and graduated from Columbia University, from which he also received an M.A. in Drama. With his wife, Phyllis, he joined the Peace Corps and was assigned to Ethiopia, where he taught English at Haile Selassie University in Addis Ababa.
