Mark M. Dintenfass was born on 17 April 1872 in Tarnów, Galicia, Austria-Hungary [now Tarnów, Malopolskie, Poland]. Mark M. was a producer, known for Between Two Husbands (1922) , My Four Years in Germany (1918) and Love That Never Fails (1912) .
His novels are known for their New York settings. His 1982 work Old World, New World was a literary Guild Alternate Selection and came within a few thousand copies of creeping on to the New York Times best-seller list.
